Are you afraid of Changes in your Life?

We like it when there has been no change around for a while in this gift of life. At some point in time, we get used to how we live, and that's the evident and obvious reason for why we don't like change. But the reasons also run deeper than that. We also fear the new because of the ambiguity it brings. For some, though, change is a new beginninga fresh start.

Neuroscience research teaches us that doubt registers in our brain much like mistakes and inaccuracies do. It has to be corrected before we can feel at ease again, so we'd rather not have that hanging in the air if we can avoid it. We also dread change because we fear that we might lose what's linked with that change. Our hatred of loss can even cause logic to dash out the window. This is why the study shows that gamblers at a horse track who are having a day of loss are most likely to gamble on the long shots, at terrible odds, on the very last race of the day. They're faced with the comprehension, utter realization of loss and are willing to bet on it with 20:1 odds, a bet they'd by no means walk in thinking they'd make--all for the reason that of our violent aversion to loss.

Career

Research indicates that fright of change is one of the single most job limiting moves you can make. This fear flows down in a number of behaviors that have been linked to undersize consideration for top management positions. Rise above for this change.

Competence

You must consider you have the capability for change. The truth is you must believe you have the competence to handle. And you must essentially believe that change will only make you a better person. This requires letting go of how amazing things used to be and to stop joining anti-change groups that use their time complaining about the transformation. Because who knows – it can be a positive one!

Core

Finally, keep in mind the core of you- the things that will not change. Change makes us feel untethered and like we're whirling in the wind. Do some self-help and find your anchor and remember in the power of Now

Change comes to those who have strong emotional intelligence. There is both common good and bad in it, but if we always fear it, we would not grow at all.

Where is the Love?

There is a song called “Where’s the Love” by Black Eyed Peas. It has profound lyrics about the deprived state of the world. The words concentrated on death, children, asking questions about the abysmal world, killings, and terrorism, discrimination, justice, and corruption. At one point, the lyrics even tell you to take control of the mind in the world of change and insanity all around. It talks about the real side of the world- the media, racism, money, etc. Why are we talking about the song? It’s because the lyrics still apply for today. Today people are worried about the  future   even more.    Crisis and compassion   Owing to so many problems deeper than what it looks like, the search for   happiness   is even more! There is the Pandemic which has created fear of a different kind for the current generation. Exceptional  changes   need to take place, especially in terms of compassion. People are becoming easily selfish and segregating the public between corona affected and n

Can being “Positive” feel Forced?

We are in a world where there is a lot of negativity. Staying positive is the new trend. As much as it sounds good, sometimes it may feel forced. The very pressure of staying positive becomes a bit much when it isn’t like that in their real world. There is this one  gift of life   where one should feel just as they do, instead of what others want them to.  What is forced or toxic positivity?   Forced positivity is the thought that people dealing with a disease need to continually portray themselves in an optimistic mood or light, and that thinking “on the bright side” will help with the hurt. This is awfully common on social media where people are anticipated to only show the good side of their lives.   The term 'toxic positivity' refers to the idea that focusing on the alleged positive emotions and reject anything that may activate negative emotions is the right way to live a life.    The pressured feeling   This kind of feeling also depends on person to pe

Happiness and your Mental Health

Depression has affected more than 264 million people— yet it can be tough for some people who live with it to find the resources they want. Whether it’s a safe space to share your feelings anonymously, useful self-care methods, or the latest in mental health research, you should know that you aren’t alone. It’s a  better world  when everyone is in it together, fighting away.  Your happiness depends on your mental health. No amount of material gains will satiate it. Money is a temporary object for fulfilling happiness, but real mental health is finding contentment within no matter what the circumstances stand. Your  future   and your past are not there, the only thing is the present.  Eradicating mental health issues such as anxiety and depression would raise happiness by 20%, whereas eliminating poverty would boost happiness quotient by only 5%. In other words, handling your mental health problems would be four times more helpful at increasing happiness than dropping the poverty
